Distinguished alumni were honored at the Jefferson Community College (JCC) Foundation's Annual Scholars Reception held on November 5, 2019 at the Hilton Garden Inn. Two distinguished alumni were recognized for their professional achievement and exemplary commitment to their community and Jefferson Community College. The 2019 Distinguished Alumni honorees are Toya M. Webb, Class of 2002, and Brian S. Peck, Class of 1998.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold its Fall Commencement Ceremony for December candidates for graduation on Thursday, December 19, 2019. The ceremony will take place in the McVean Student Center Gymnasium at 6:00 p.m. and will be video-streamed on the College's website, www.sunyjefferson.edu. Approximately 174 students will be eligible to graduate from Jefferson in December upon successful completion of degree requirements.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) has been acknowledged as a 2020 Best for Vets college by Military Times, and is nationally ranked in the Top Ten among 28 two-year schools. JCC first received Best for Vets designation in 2017.
