Jefferson Community College is committed to creating educational and career pathways that meet the needs of students and the community. This fall, in collaboration with the North Country Workforce Development Institute and Lewis County, JCC partnered with the National Tractor Trailer School to offer free hands-on training to prepare students to take the nationally recognized commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A exam.

The College and Renzi Foodservice have partnered to provide hands-on job training to 11 newly hired employees at Renzi Foodservice. This innovative program allows employees to build their skills while gaining experience and earning a wage.

Jefferson Community College and the National Center for Construction Education and Research will again offer tuition-free construction training at the Lewis County Education Center. Training begins in October. Anyone may sign up for construction training. There are no pre-requisites or prior experience necessary.
