Jefferson Community College (JCC) has received more than $1 million dollars from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) to support students that have been negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and has begun distribution.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) Workforce Development and Business Division (WDBD) will continue to offer retail job training that leads to industry-recognized credentials from the National Retail Federation (NRF). Training is free and made possible by a New York State Department of Labor grant. The next 3-week cohort will begin October 22, 2018. Retail sales, food service, and hotels and hospitality are areas covered during training. Classes will meet on JCC's campus Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Transportation and childcare assistance are available.
