Campus Childcare
Jefferson Campus Care provides high quality, affordable and accessible childcare to the children of Jefferson Community College students, faculty and staff, and to members of the community as space permits.
We are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm during the Fall and Spring semesters. Financial aid can be used to pay for childcare fees. The childcare payments are accepted at John T. Henderson Campus Care, Building 8.
Jefferson Campus Care is a New York State licensed facility through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
How we engage
The philosophy that guides the experiences for the children is based upon the belief that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery. Our purpose is to provide an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth, and the development of the child as a whole by providing developmentally appropriate activities for the children.
Nourishment for your child
Children are served nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks approved by the Child and Adult Food Care Program.
How you can subsidize
Subsidy grants are available to all Jefferson Community College students who meet eligibility guidelines to reduce the cost of childcare. Please contact Jefferson Campus Care for space availability and more information on available grants.
